AN-Y1 Fashion

AN-Y1 is a new and exciting luxury fashion brand launched in collaboration with Gulf, with its powerful racing heritage acting as a source of inspiration for the collection.

Gulf Oil contacted us to take the branding they had recently had completed by another agency, and apply it to a minimalistic, totally bespoke e-commerce website, allowing them to enter the luxury fashion marketing in style.

A simple, yet beautiful e-commerce experience

After our initial planning stages, we began producing bespoke designs for all the key pages of the new AN-Y1 website.

We quickly settled on a minimalistic look and feel that made subtle use of the iconic Gulf Oil Orange and Light Blue with an otherwise black and white colour palette.

Coupled up with the inclusion of video and some subtle touches as the user scrolls down the page, we arrived at a homepage that engages and encourages people to explore the product line.

Online shop optimised for Google

The Shop lets the products do the talking, within a clean and simple layout that makes it easy for users to filter products via options on the left hand side.

Being privy to what makes an e-commerce website rank well with Google, we were sure to include space for content below the products, giving AN-Y1 the ability to include content to help the main Shop page (and subsequent Category pages) achieve high organic Google rankings.

Clean product pages

For the Product pages we took inspiration from Net-A-Porter, keeping things clean and clear, making it easy for the user to quickly view multiple images of the product, select their desired colour and size, and even add the products to a Wishlist too. A “You may also like” section closes out the product page, encouraging the user to browse more of the shop.

Basket and checkout pages

The Basket leads with three reasons to buy from AN-Y1 with confidence, displayed in a crisp and clear black horizontal bar. The Order Summary is clearly defined making it easy to select delivery options, see the total value of their Basket and move through to the Checkout.

From experience, we know a one page checkout converts when it comes to e-commerce, so we created a simple process that makes it super-simple for users, no matter what device they are using.

Content pages and blog

Every e-commerce website needs to be backed up by solid content style pages and a blog. Below you can see the “Our Story” page, followed by a Blog post and also the “Contact” page.

Having a built in Blog gives AN-Y1 the ability to produce content at scale, all with the aim of driving more traffic to the new website.

Inventory management with Huboo

Built on a WordPress & WooCommerce foundation, all content and imagery across the website is editable, giving AN-Y1 complete control. The Shop is easy to administer and is integrated with 3rd-party fulfilment software Huboo, allowing products and stock from the website to flow seamlessly into this system.

We also put in place cart abandonment emails to help recover potentially lost sales.
