Branding & bespoke website design for Home Move Box. A leading marketing channel for retailers, FMCG brands and property professionals who are looking to connect with home movers on the day they move into their new home.

Home Move Box first got in touch with us way back in 2015 to create the branding for their new business, along with a bespoke e-commerce website. At that point the business model was primarily about providing a subscription box, packed full of goodies that Estate Agents could send to their clients on the day of their move. The business enjoyed huge success, and as a result the business model flipped, with Home Move Box becoming more of a product sampling agency, allowing brands to get their products infront of their perfect clients – home owners.

Immediately recognisable branding

The brand identity we created for Home Move Box is simple, memorable and has stood the test of time since we first created it back in 2015. It’s now widely recognised in the home mover marketing industry and has given Home Move Box the confidence to dramatically grow it’s business.

A beautiful, bespoke website that better represents the business

The updated homepage design for the new Home Move Box website puts the emphasis on the services they provide as a product sampling agency, whilst still making it clear that they also provide welcome boxes for Estate Agents. We opted for a clean and clear layout with space for the different sections to breathe, drawing on the brand colours we had established during that phase of the project all those years ago. The new website look and feel is much more modern and positions Home Move Box as a leading home mover marketing agency.

Service Pages

To help differentiate the services HMB offer as a product sampling agency, we utilised different shades of green from the branding and used these within the main horizontal band towards the top of the page. As the user scrolls further down the page we incorporated a combination of iconography and imagery to make it easy for visitors to scan through the content. Important testimonials from existing brands HMB work with are displayed clearly finally we finish off these pages providing links to case studies so visitors can see how Home Move Box have helped other brands get their products in front of their ideal target audience.

Product Pages

Whilst the e-commerce aspect was taking a back seat in this revised version of Home Move Box’s website, it was still key to ensure that these pages provided an intuitive user experience. Below you can see how the product pages look with the ability for Estate Agents to purchase welcome boxes and customise the ribbon colours on their chosen box.

Basket and checkout pages

Once a box is added to the Estate Agents basket the checkout page allows them to sign into their account and then distribute each box to various addresses of their choosing, specifying a preferred delivery date. New client addresses can be added from the checkout, but they can also be managed within the Agents “My Account” area too.

The right side of the checkout page summarises the order and as the content on the left side can become quite tall, due to some Agents ordering many bozes with lots of different delivery addresses, we made the summary box on the right sticky, so its always visible no matter where you are on the page.

Ability to include case studies

The service HMB provide is all about generating results for the brands that are included within the boxes, so giving HMB the ability to create and post case studies, including tangible results they’d achieved for their clients was critical. We created a simple case study format allowing them to do just that.
